The composition of the oil is very rich in unsaturated fatty acids (Omega 3, 6, 7 and 9) which individually possess anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and healing properties.
The differentiation compared to vegetable oils is mainly due to the very high number of polyunsaturated fatty acids, which can reach up to a dozen. These are the essential fatty acids that are very active and beneficial in treating skin imbalances.
